UDHAMPUR, Apr 30: Nine persons were injured when an Innova car, they were travelling in, slipped into deep gorge near Samroli on the National Highway, this evening.
The ill- fated Innova car, bearing registration number JK02AC-0202, was on its way from Upper Samroli to Udhampur when driver lost control over the vehicle, which rolled down into deep gorge near Samroli.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where condition of all of them was stated to be stable.
The injured were s identified as Dheeraj (16) son of Sham Lal of Kawa Udhampur, Pallavi Bandral (14) daughter of Sham Lal, Shobha Devi (22) wife of Sandoor Singh of Champari Chenani, Akash Manhas (10) son of Bhajan Lal of Samroli, Madhu (30) wife of Madan Lal of Samorli, Darshana Devi (40) wife of Kaka Ram of Chenani, Meenu Devi (16) daughter of Kaka Ram of Chenani, Shavani (15) daughter of Bhajan Lal of Samorli, and Vikas (12), son of Bhajan Lal of Samorli.
