UDHAMPUR, Nov 12: Nine passengers were injured, when the bus they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunges into a gorge at Tirchi area of the district.
The ill-fated bus bearing registration number JKO2AC-6627, was on its way to Udhampur from Tirchi, when it skidded off the road and fell into a gorge, causing grievous injuries to nine passengers.
On getting information, locals and police rushed to the spot, started rescue operation and later shifted them to District Hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered and investigation started.
