MUMBAI, Nov 19: The 1993 blast accused Feroz Khan is making false and baseless application before the court that he was assaulted and targeted by the Arthur road jail officils were he is
lodge presently, claim Jail officials. In a reply to the application filed before designated TADA judge GA Sanap, the jail administration claimed that it was Khan himself who was responsible for the incident and he had misbehaved with the lady official and abused her. Khan on October 30, filed an application in the special CBI court informing the court that he was assaulted by the jail administration staff.
He mentioned in the application that because he informed the court about the correct number of mobiles phones found at the Arthur Road jail, he was targetted by the jail staff. Earlier, Khan filed a no-confidence application against the Special CBI judge GA Sanap and his counsel advocate Haider Mooman.
He had apparently also filed an application informing the Special CBI court that on October 12, 42 mobile phones were seized from the accused of Aurangabad Arms Haul case, 7/11 train blast case and Indian Mujahideen members. However the police claimed that only four mobile phones were seized. Khan is accused of landing RDX in the city before the 1993 blasts.
