JAMMU, Aug 31: The 9th District Jammu Pencak Silat Championship 2024 held at Bhagwati Nagar Indoor Stadium, saw impressive displays of skill and determination from around 200 participants across various schools and clubs.
The event culminated in a medal ceremony led by Arvind Gupta, Secretary of BJP, and Ritika, Manager of the Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar. The championship recognized outstanding performers, with Gauri Arora, Aditya, Mahika, Vedant Singh, Anagya, Rakshit, Prince and Arav taking home gold medals. Akshit, Tanish and Gaurakshi earned silver medals, while Anmol, Manoj Kumar,and Kavish were awarded bronze. The gold medalists will advance to represent the district in the forthcoming Union Territory Championship.
