KATHUA, Feb 17: Senior Superintendent of Police, Shailendra Mishra today announced 9th Police Martyrs Inter-club T-20 Cricket Championship will commence from February 23 and will culminate on March 9, 2020.
While addressing media at District Police Line here, the SSP Shailendra Mishra said that the upcoming T-20 championship will be organised under Civic Action Programme 2019-20 in the memory of Shaheed Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manjeet Singh.
He briefed that the tournament was organized every year by Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with Shaheed Welfare Committee. The Director General of Police will be the Chief guest of the occasion.
“The tournament has emerged as a platform for grooming young talent as many players from IPL as well as Ranji will participate in the tournament. 16 teams from all over the India will participate the tourney and same shall be organised on league basis”, he added.
