DBPS provides financial assistance to handicapped widows

JAMMU, July 19: Maintaining social distancing, Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) today organized a simple function here today and provided financial assistance to handicapped widows.
An amount of Rs 3600 per person was distributed by president of the Sabha, Ved Parkash Sharma along with senior members including Adv PC Sharma, Tawi Andolan president Chander Mohan Sharma and Adv Devki Nandan Pangotra. A total Rs 1,51, 200 were distrusted among all the beneficiaries.
President of the Sabha appealed the participants to be in touch with the Sabha, so that their grievances may be mitigated. He also appealed to youth members of the Sabha to educate the people regarding preventive measures to defeat COVID-19 pandemic. The programme was conducted by DBPS chief spokesperson, Subash Shastri.
Others who were part of the function included Narinder Mohan Magotra, Satyanand Sharma, NC Sharma, ML Sharma, Dr Som Nath Magotra, Jagan Nath Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma and many others.
