JAMMU, July 20: BJP senior leader and former State president of the party, Ashok Khajuria today said that opposition parties instead of criticising the Government should cooperate with it in tiding over the crisis faced by the country due to spread of dreaded COVID-19.
In a statement issued hare, he said that entire world is facing the crisis due to spread of COVID which has taken a heavy toll and instead of criticising the Government and finding fault in its working, the opposition parties are supposed to cooperate with it in tiding over the crisis facing the nation and the people.
Khajuria said it is unfortunate that opposition parties are daily coming with statements critising the Narendra Modi Government and accusing it of its failure in tackling the COVID pandemic when the facts are altogether different. He said it was with the best leadership qualities of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that India has taken many steps to minimize the damage caused by the pandemic and had these steps not been taken the situation could have been more alarming.

He also took the Congress and other parties saying that the parties who never bothered to grant reservation rights to the people living along IB are now trying to be champions of their cause when these are the parties who most harmed the cause of people living on IB.
Khajuria said Congress and NC never paid attention towards development in the J&K especially in Jammu region while soon after taking over by Modi Government at Centre the J&K got highest number of six medical colleges, two AIIMS, Expressway Corridor, IIM, IISC network of roads flyover and bridges while Congress and NC Government had totally neglected the region during their rule.
