JAMMU, July 22: Shield Taekwondo Academy was today recognized by J&K Taekwondo Association.
After getting recognition from the primer Association of J&K, the Shield Taekwondo Academy is going to participate in ongoing “1st International Invitational Online Club Taekwondo Poomsae Championships”, organized by Atul International Taekwondo Academy (AITA) in collaboration with Korean Culture Centre, India (KCC), which started from July 20 and will conclude on July 30.
The event is being supported by J&K Taekwondo Association and sponsored by USI.
It’s for the very first time that Shield Taekwondo Academy will participate at this kind of virtual based online event. Around 64 Clubs across the country will be taking part. A total of 18 athletes from the Academy will also be participating in the championship. Four world class Grand masters will judge the event online.
Burhan Ud Din Khan, chief coach of the Academy appreciated and encouraged the players for taking part in the upcoming tournament.
