JAMMU, July 23: An Open Gym was inaugurated by Councillor, Gaurav Chopra in Municipal Park behind Arya Samaj Mandir at Ward No. 28, Bakshi Nagar, here today.
“The newly established Gym will facilitate the recreation of people, especially youth, besides it would also help them to maintain their physical health,” said Chopra while inaugurating the first Open Gym in his ward, adding that due to opening of this Gym in the park, people of all age groups would be able to take advantage of it.
He appealed the Government to open all the gyms in the Jammu city soon. “The opening of the gyms will help to drive Corona away,” he said.
Chopra also made a special appeal to the youth not to waste their life by getting caught in the clutches of drugs and taking care of their health by taking advantage of the newly established Open Gym.
Others who were part of the event included Executive Engineer, Mohit Mahajan, Manu Gupta, Professor Bhatia, Indderjeet Singh, Netar Prakash Anand, Manish Jandial and Sunil Anand.
