JAMMU, July 25: A lineman of Power Development Department was assaulted by a man in Krishna Nagar area, here today.
As per police sources, a PDD lineman namely Arun, son of Subash Chander lodged a complaint with Police Station Nowabad stating that a man identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Chaman Lal of Krishna Nagar assaulted him.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 104/2020 under section 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 332 IPC has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and investigation started.
