JAMMU, July 25: Janipur police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per polices sources, on reliable information, a team from Janipur Police Station led by SHO Inspector Naresh Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AM-8972.
During checking, police team recovered 8 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sourab Sharma, son of Raj Kumar of House Number 184 Upper Laxmi Nagar Sarwal District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 56/2020 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
