UDHAMPUR, Aug 24: Workshop on “Career Awareness and Role of Physical Education for Healthy Lifestyle” entered Day-2.
The second day of the workshop was hosted by Ritika Mahajan, HOD Chemistry, GDC Ramnagar.
The welcome note was given by the organizing secretary of the workshop Mukesh Sharma, Director Physical Education, GDC Ramnagar.
The session was chaired by Dr Dinesh Sharma, Director Physical Education, GDC Kalakot on the topic “Career Opportunities in Physical Education and Sports along with the professional courses in physical Education”.
Dr Dinesh highlighted numerous opportunities available in Government, private and professional sectors with respect to physical education and sports. Some of them are physical education trainer, coach, professor, sport psychologist, physiotherapist, industrial professional sports designer, sports event manager, freelancer, wellness and health club manager, community sport recreation programmer, equipment manufacturing etc.
The existing sports law in the society was also presented by Dr. Dinesh.
The concluded remarks of the session were given by Dr. Mehak, Assistant Professor of Physical Education, Shivalik College of Education. Thereafter the chairperson of the session Dr. Dinesh and organizing secretary Mukesh Sharma resolved the queries of the participants on the same topic.
The session ended with the vote of thanks by Mukesh Sharma.
Principal Dr Udhay Bhanu, Rohit Gupta, Deepa Sharma, Ritika Mahajan, Shiv Kumar and Divya Puri were among others present on the occasion.
