JAMMU, Aug 27: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen items valuing Rs 49,000 from their possession.
As per police sources, a case regarding some theft of household goods was lodged at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu.
Acting swiftly, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station led by SHO Inspector Kirti Sharma apprehended two thieves involved in the case.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Arshid, son of Mohammad Aslam and Abdul Majid, son of Talab Hussain, both residents of Ragoora, district Jammu.
On their disclosure stolen goods worth Rs 49,000 were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
