6 injured as Sumo rolls down

DODA, Aug 29: Six persons were injured when the Tata Sumo they were traveling in skidded off the road and rolled down near Bathri area on Gandoh-Thathri road in tehsil Kahara, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-5041 was on its way to Thathri from Gandoh, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into maize field near Bathri area on Gandoh-Thathri road, resulting into injuries to six persons.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Emergency Hospital at Thathri, from where four were referred to GMC Doda for specialized treatment.
The injured have been identified as Muzafar Hussain (28), son of Sher Zaman of Darori Gandoh, Talib Hussain (32), son of Mohammad Mussa of Tundlar Gandoh, Hajra Begum (55), wife of late Abdul Rasheed of Putan Gandoh, Zarnina Begum (30), wife of Shakeel Ahmed of Nagni, Shakeel Ahmed (35), son of Mohammad Yousaf of Nagni and Hashma Begum (60), wife of Mohammad Akbar of Chamote Gandoh.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Thathri Police Station and investigation started.
