GoI should take steps for resettlement of Pandits: SKS

JAMMU, Sept 23: The Sampooran Kashmir Sanghattan (SKS) today said that its organization will fully endorse the proposal of separate composite colonies for Resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits if GoI is thinking in this regard.
As per statement released today by its general secretary and national spokes person, Bharat Kachroo after Core Committee meeting said that Sampoorn Kashmir Sanghattan will welcome the planing of separate Satellite colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in various districts of Valley if GoI will provide all facilities and assurance of 24x7security around it by Central Forces.
SKS has also said that if GoI is really interested to rehabilitate Kashmiri Pandits back in their mother land then it becomes very important that their needs and demands should be agreed before their return which included KPs be given one time financial package against their loss of property, trade and carrer, mediclaim should be assured for all of them, All over aged and relief holders be provided lifetime monthly relief of more than Rs25000 per family instead of member wise allocation as pension so that they can manage their families, soft loan facilities should be provided to these over-aged to start their self employment, GoI should also assure employment for all young generation of KPs without any hassle as per qualification of candidate, KPs be given representation in Parliament and Assembly and Distress Sale Act should be implemented on ground and sales of immovable properties should be treated null and void.
Sampoorn Kashmir Sanghattan has urged that GoI to take immediate and concrete steps now for Kashmiri Pandits for their rehabilitation and resettlement in Kashmir Valley.
