JAMMU, Sept 30: Chief Engineer, Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), Ashwani Kumar Anand, was given a warm and affectionate farewell by his colleagues on his superannuation today. During his service, Anand held various important positions in PHE Department.
He has many notable achievements in his name including modernization and regulation of main Ravi Tawi Canal, construction of major earthen embankments at Ujh River, formulation & commissioning of major water supply schemes, construction of STPs & Sewerage Network and allied works for pollution abatement of River Devika and River Tawi. His colleagues wished him good luck on his retirement.
To bid a warm send off to Shamsher Singh Sambyal (Deputy SP), Jogeshwer Singh (Sub Inspector) and Nand Lal (Sub Inspector), a function was organized by Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) on their retirement from service. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Rajinder Gupta, Principal PTTI Vijaypur appreciated the services rendered by all retirees and wished them a successful and healthy post retirement lift.
Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Assistant Executive Engineer, JPDCL, Janipur (PDD), was accorded a warm send off by his colleagues, as he retired today from the service on attaining the age of superannuation. He gave 36 years of his life to the Department in different capacities. He has many achievements in his name including conversion of 66/11 KV Receiving Station into 33/11 KV Level at Canal Power House, electrification of Multi-storey Building of J&K Guest House at Chankyapuri (New Delhi), erection of 8 Transmission Towers in 220-KV Circuit Burn – Kishenpur Transmission Line and construction of 2 x 10 MVA Receiving Station at IGC Samba.
Subhash Sharma, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Surinsar, was given a warm send off by the staff, civil society and principals on his superannuation, during a simple function organized today in the school premises. He retired after serving the Department for more than 38 years. All his colleagues and civil society members wished him a happy, healthy and prosperous retired life.
Department of Information and Public Relations, Directorate of Information, Jammu accorded an affectionate adieu to retiring officer, Nana Tufchi, as Assistant Information Officer, Directorate of Information on attaining the age of superannuation here today. District Police Reasi today organized a simple but impressive function at the Confer-ence Hall of District Police Lines Reasi to bid farewell to Senior Grade Constable Bodh Raj who attained superannuation after serving the J&K Police Department for more than 38 years. Non Teaching Employees Association (NTEAJ) SKUAST- Jammu accorded warm send off to Krishan Lal (Gardener Fruit Science FOA Chatha), SKUAST-J, who retired after attaining the age of superannuation today.
