SRINAGAR, Oct 8: A woman was today mauled to death by a bear in New Theed area of Harwan in Srinagar outskirts.
An official said that a wild bear attacked the woman when she was working in the kitchen garden at her residence in the area.
They said that she suffered grave injuries during the attack and was rushed to SKIMS, Soura in a critical condition.
It was stated that the woman-in her 50’s-succumbed to her injuries soon after she was taken to the hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Haleema W/o Ali Mohammad Ganaie of New Theed.
