JAMMU, Oct 12: Shri Mata Kol Kandoli Temple Committee has started a special campaign to promote Dogra culture and to make public and tourists aware of the importance of Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Ji’s first darshan at Kol Kandoli temple.
In a handout Chief Priest at Shri Mata Kol Kandoli temple, Jai Prakash Sharma said, to connect the general public and devotees from across the country and abroad with this ancient temple a special visit is being organized by Jungameshwar Mahadev Temple, Vivekananda Chowk, Jammu during Navratras for the devotees and tourists daily from October 17 to 26.
The journey will be conducted by Garud Seva Open Roof Top Bus through advance registration once for a journey from Jammu to Shri Mata Kol Kandoli Temple with one hour stay.
He also informed that the ticket price will be Rs. 100 per passenger and there will be three shifts daily at 9 am, 12 pm and 3 pm.
Sharma also said that open roof top bus service is more secure and comfortable than a closed vehicle in the time of Corona.
“The bus will be well sanitized before each trip and all the passengers will be required to use masks,” he added.
Sarpanch of Nagrota, Kishore Kumar Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
Chief Priest of the temple also said that for booking a seat one may contact the reception room of Shri Mata Kol Kandoli Temple.
