Extend benefits of all welfare schemes to migrants: KPs

JAMMU, Oct 13: Various KP organizations have appealed the UT Government to extend the Ayushmann Medical Scheme and other awareness programs to Kashmiri migrants and also the ways and means should be find out that how to cover those migrants who are residing outside the UT so that they could also avail the benefits of these schemes.
The meeting also requested Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to look into the medical cases pending for the medical reimbursement since long in the relief Department as this needs immediate attention to ease out their sufferings at the earliest.
The meeting said the Government of Jammu and Kashmir which extended the back to village programme and subsequently made awareness of the various social welfare schemes launched by GOI for the welfare and upliftment of the people in different camps and non camp localities for KPs which concluded yesterday was a long pending demand of the community.
The KP organizations , Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj, Jagti Coordination Committee, Panun Kashmir unit Jagti , ,Help Line Humanity and prominent people expressed their satisfaction over the move of the Government to extend the benefits of these schemes to KPs as well and expressed the hope that besides these schemes the other various schemes of the Government will also be implemented and extended to KPs.
All the present in the meeting complimented the Relief and Rehabilitation Department especially Commissioner Secretary, Simran Deep Singh, RRC , T K Bhat ,AD Rajneesh Kapoor camp commandants, staff and Engineering Wing for their cooperation and for conducting hassle free awareness of the schemes.
