JAMMU, Oct 13: A security guard of Indira Theatre was attacked with a sharp edged weapon by his own colleague around midnight of yesterday.
According to a police official, two security guards of Indira Theatre clashed with each other in inebriated condition over some issue and in the fit of rage one of them by making a phone call called his son and other accomplices who together beat the other security guard namely Vishav Singh Manhas (32) son of Vikram Singh Manhas, resident of Patta Paloura (Jammu), and attacked him with a sharp edged weapon (Khokri).
“In the attack, Vishav received injuries in his abdomen and leg. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable,” the official said, adding, Nowabad police had taken cognizance of the matter.
