JAMMU, Apr 26: Rhythm Babbar of Heritage School, Jammu and Chahat Masoom of Delhi Public School, Jammu bagged first and second position respectively in the Nano Nagle Memorial Debate Contest held at Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, here today. The third place was bagged by Tooba Khatoon of Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Aimed at facilitating exchange of ideas, thoughts and fostering student interaction in a competitive spirit, the debate was sponsored by the School Alumni Association.
The Topic of the debate was ‘Woman’s journey from the four walls to the fore ground has added to her plight’.
Sarita Chauhan was the chief guest on the occasion, while the event was judged by Pradeep Dutta, Bureau Chief, Times Now, Prof Shivali Gupta and Prof Sonia Khajuria.
