JAMMU, Apr 27: For effective and proper monitoring of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abiyan(RMSA) the Education Department has reconstituted four tier monitoring mechanism at State, divisional, district and school level.
On the directions of the Deputy Chief Minister who holds the charge of the Education Department the committees have been made broad based.
At State level, the committee will be headed by the Chief Secretary comprising of Administrative Secretaries of Planning, Education and R&B Departments besides Divisi-onal Commissioners of Jammu/Kashmir, Director School Education Jammu/ Kashmir, Chairman, BOSE, SPD, RMSA, eminent educati-onist and Head of Department, Education, University of Jammu/Kashmir.
At divisional level, the committee would be headed by the respective Divisional Commi-ssioner comprising of respective Director School Education, Chief Engineer R&B Jammu/Kashmir, SPD, RMSA, Principal SIE, Jammu/Kashmir and State Coordinator, RMSA.
At district level, the committee would be headed by the respective District Development Commissioner comprising of Superintendent Engineer, R&B, Additional District Develo-pment Commissioner, concerned Chief Education Officer, Principal, DIET and state coordinator RMSA
The school level monitoring committee would comprise of head of institution, school management and development committee and representatives of PRIs.
The School Education Department has taken up the matter with General Administration Department for concurrence and issuance of orders.
