JAMMU, Apr 27: A 2-year old boy was crushed by a college bus in Sainik Colony area of the winter capital.
Police spokesman said that, 2-year old Sagar, son of Ram Bahadur of Madhya Pradesh, at present Sainik Colony, was crossing the road, when the college bus of a private college hit him.
Profusely bleeding boy was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body was handed over to legal heirs after completion of legal formalities.
A case under FIR No. 33/13 has been registered at police post Sainik Colony and manhunt launched to arrest the driver of the school bus, who has been identified as Mohd Nazir, son of Mohd Din of tehsil Haveli, district Poonch.
