Pushpinder Bharti becomes Mr J&K 2012-13

JAMMU, Apr 27: Competing in below 75 kg category, Pushpinder Bharti became Senior Mr J&K, while Nitish Kumar became Junior Mr J&K while competing in the body building competition ‘Mr J&K 2012-13’, organized by All J&K Amateur Body Building Association at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground, here today.
Umar Shah became the best poser, while the best improved body builder award went to Vikas Thappa.
Minister for Housing and Culture, Raman Bhalla and National Conference (NC) provincial president, Devender Rana, were the special guests on the occasion, who later-on distributed prizes among the best body builders.
Earlier, in junior below 55 kg, Happy Mehra claimed first place, while the second and third place went to Parveen Kumar Sharma and Jugal Kumar respectively.
In below 60 kg, Shahid, Sahi and Irfan bagged the first three positions respectively, while in below 65 kg, Verinder and Ubaid claimed first and second slot respectively.
Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar winner of Junior Mr J&K award and Tufair bagged first two positions in below 70 kg category, while Dhananjay Singh Charak and Rahul Bhagat clinched first and second place in below 75 kg category respectively.
In Senior below 55 kg category, Parveen Kumar Sharma and Happy Mehra bagged first two places respectively, while in below 60 kg, Shahid, Gurpreet Singh and Sahil bagged first, second and third place respectively.
In below 65 kg, Ashok Kumar Veerinder and Aqib claimed the first three places respectively, while Javed, Nitish Kumar and Dr Gunit claimed first, second and third place respectively.
Pushpinder Bharti, the winner of Senior Mr J&K 2012-13 award, Muzafar and Nischal Kumar bagged first, second and third place in below 75 kg category, while Vikas Thappa and Navdeep claimed first and second place in below 80 kg category.
