EHSAAS T-20 Cricket Tournament begins

POONCH, Nov 2: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Khalid Ameen inaugurated EHSAAS T-20 Cricket at Sports Stadium, here today.
About 32 teams of Poonch district are participating in this tournament.
The opening match was played between PP Tigers and Rising Stars Chandak wherein former defeated the later by 99 runs.
Batting first, PP Tigers scored 157 runs by losing 9 wickets in which Prabjot and Mukesh made 54 and 40 runs respectively. For Rising, Gulfraz took 3 wickets while Waseem and Zulfkar shared two each wickets.
In reply, Rising Stars bundled out at only 58 runs in 16.3 overs.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh Toofan (PET) and Ajaz Ahmed (REK) while Manzoor Ahmed (REK) acted as scorer.
On this occasion, Mohd Qasim I/C DYSSO Poonch, DySP HQ Mudasar Ahmed, DySP DAR Sachin Gupta and Nirdosh Kumar, I/C Manager Sports Stadium Poonch were the guest of honours while Pawan Kumar, Amresh Kumar, Vijay Kumar (PEMs), Mushtaq Ahmed, Boxing coach, Davinder Singh (PET), Umran Shah, Chairman Khidmat Foundation Poonch and Ram Prakash, Ground In-charge also graced the inaugural function.
