REASI, Nov 6: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) organised Inter-Zonal District Level (IZDL) Athletic Meet for boys at General Zorawar Singh Stadium, here today.
About 75 athletes from Reasi, Arnas, Pouni and Mahore Zones participated in different activities like Long jump, High jump, Race, Shotput and many more.
In 100mtrs Race, Gourav Roy clinched first position while Kaniya and Rinku Manhas secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In Long jump U/14, Rajeev Singh bagged first prize while second prize went to Farhaam Malik.
In High jump U/14, first position was clinched by Mohammad Asif and second position was bagged by Amit Kumar whereas in Shot put U/19, Ajay Singh and Manjeet Singh bagged 1st and 2nd positions respectively.
Assistant Controller Legal Metrology, Pushkar Raj Sharma was the chief guest whereas Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer, SN Uppal and Youth Services and Sports Officer, Subash Chander Sharma were the guests of honour.
