JAMMU, Nov 13: KC Sports Club (KCSC) defeated Shining Star Doda by 48 runs while Vishal Cricket Club trounced Game Changer Club by eight wickets in the ongoing Eid-Diwali Milan Cricket Championship, being organised by Members of ICA in association with KC Sports Club at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Batting first KCSC scored 172 runs by losing 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Bandeep Singh made 72 runs, Akash and Aqib contributed 29 and 23 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Anmol took four important wickets, Aman bagged two wickets while Adnan took 1 wicket for his team.
In reply Shining Stars Club Doda couldn’t chased the target and managed to score 124 runs in 19.4 overs by losing all wickets. Nawaz scored 33 runs, Karan and Pranav contributed 32 and 22 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Bandeep took three wickets, Sunil and Vivek took 2 wickets each while Akash, Acqib, Vicky and Puneet took 1 wicket each. Bandeep Singh was declared as Man of the Match.
In 2nd match, Vishal Cricket Club defeated Game Changer Club by 8 wickets
Batting first Game Changer Club made 142 runs by losing five wickets with Yogesh Sikka contributing 57 runs, Kartik scored 19 runs and Dikshant made 16 runs. From the bowling side, Rakesh Koul took two wickets while Aqib, Rahul and Sarthak took 1 wicket each.
In reply Vishal Cricket Club chased the target in 18 overs by losing only two wickets and won the match by 8 wickets. Sarthak scored 52 runs whereas Rohan Gill & Rakesh Koul contributed 36 and 17 runs respectively. From bowling side, Munna and Gourav took 1 wicket each.
The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, JD Singh, Vijay Dhar, Sabastian and Sanju.
