*KCC Panzipora beats JD XI Hanjura

BUDGAM, Nov 13: KCC Panzipora defeated JD XI Hanjura in the final match of Wathoora Premier League and lifted the title trophy played at Shah Qalandar Sports Ground Wathoora, here today.
JD XI Hanjura got a worst start and made 120 runs in allotted 20 overs. Junaid played a knock of 33 runs. In reply, KCC Panzipora got a good start after losing early two wickets. Mansoor once again played brilliantly and scored 49 runs while Imtiyaz made 31 runs.
Shahid from JD XI bagged hatric and made the match complicated as KCC Panzipora required 10 runs in last over with only one wicket in hand but Farooq Ahmad played sensible and hit a six and boundary in last three balls which was unexceptional.
Nissar Khanday from KCC Panzipora was declared as Man of the Match who took five wickets in 4 overs while Masood Dar of Masood Sports was honoured with Man of the Series who made 180 runs and took 14 wickets in 4 matches.
Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat, Mohammad Rafiq and Javaid Ahmad Dar distributed trophies and cash award among players.
