JAMMU, Apr 30: A suspected thief, who had been called to Bishnah police station for questioning in connection with theft of goats, slipped away from police station during power cut.
He has been identified as Lau Gujjar son of Bashir Gujjar R/o Deoli Tibba, Bishnah.
Police said Lau has been called for questioning along with some other accused. While police was questioning the suspects, he escaped taking advantage of darkness in police station due to power cuts.
Police added that Lau was not a wanted thief but had been called only for questioning.
