JAMMU, May 1: Career Counseling Cell of Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar in collaboration with TCS organized one-day Placement Drive in its College premises, here today.
About 250 aspirants participated in the Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College said that such kind of drives provide good job opportunities to the aspirants, adding that the Colleges is always zealous in preparing the students for entrepreneurship.
Prof BC Sharma, convener of the Placement Project ‘UDAAN’, University of Jammu, Prof Neelu Gupta, Convenor Career Counseling Cell of the College, TCS team members and other staff members of the College were also present on the occasion.
The speakers said that it is the initiative taken by Government of India under the Placement Project of UDAAN to provide job opportunities to the students by conducting test at their nearby respective places.
The team members of TCS through audio-visual aid made aware the students about TCS products and the entire process of selection via written, group discussion, counseling and interview.
