Business School of Bhaderwah Campus organizes Intl webinar

BHADERWAH, Dec 3: The Business School Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, in collaboration with Securities and Exchange Board of India, organized one day international webinar on the title “Career Options and Investment Opportunities in Share Market” on the eve of International Investor Week.
The participants were from various states of India and abroad. The foreign delegates were from Uzbeskistan, Pakistan, Jamaica, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Westmoreland, United States, Malaysia, Europe, Canada etc.
Dr Umesh Choudhary, who was convener of the webinar, discussed role of educational institutes in preparing the masses to find out alternate mode of generating their livelihood and finances while staying at home during COVID.
Prof Rahul Gupta, Rector Bhaderwah Campus, delivered the presidential address. He expressed that knowledge about management of personal funds is the key to success in the life of every individual and this webinar will definitely help the participants.
M A Shinod, Deputy General Manager, Northern Regional Office, Delhi, who was the keynote speaker, shared his knowledge and expertise on working of SEBI. He further discussed how SEBI keep watch on Indian Investment Industry. He also shared about the upcoming positions of SEBI for career opportunities for the students. In addition to this, he discussed about secondary market policy in market regulation, working of investigation department etc.
Rajiv Garg, Regional Head, North India at BSE Ltd (Bombay Stock Exchange), spoke on BSE products services equities, currency and commodity derivatives etc. He also discussed about different aspects of share market and how to invest in the same. With his vast expertise in share market he enlightened the audience with each and every aspect of share market.
Munish Dwedi, Mutual Fund Assistant Vice President at State Bank of India, spoke on the various risk factors in share market and how to overcome that risk with proper management and technical know-how
The presentations were followed by threadbare discussion and questions on the topics covered in the webinar.
Webinar ended with vote of thanks by Dr Kuljit Singh, Academic Coordinator and Co- convener of the webinar. The webinar was compared and coordinated by Dr Kuljit Singh.
