KISHTWAR, Dec 6: Four Government employees were suspended for dereliction of election duty and violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in force for the ongoing District Development Council (DDC) polls.
District Panchayat Election Officer Ashok Kumar Sharma suspended two employees of the Education Department for dereliction of election duty.
The suspended employees are Desh Raj, master, HS Machail (appointed as PO polling party 5-party-4) and Sonam Angyal, Teacher HSS Ligri (appointed as P1 to polling party 5-party-11) Kishtwar.
Meanwhile, two more employees namely Altaf Hussain Wani, Inspector Forest Protection Force and Abid Hussain Wani, Field Supervisor FC have been suspended for their alleged involvement in political activities and violation of MCC for Government employees.
Additional District Development Commissioner Mohammad Hanief Malik will conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter involving the Education Department employees.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar has been asked to probe the matter involving forest officials and furnish a report within 15 days.
