SAMBA, Dec 6: Husband and wife duo was critically injured after an unknown motorcycle hit the scooty at Supwal area of Samba near here, today.
Giving details, the police said that, the mishap occurred at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway at Supwal area of Samba, when a scooty bearing Registration Number PB35AA- 3870 was moving towards Vijaypur from Samba and on reaching near Supwal, it was suddenly hit by an unknown motorcycle resulting into the critical injuries to husband wife duo. After hitting the scooty, the motorcycle rider fled from the spot. The injured were immediately brought to Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Hans Raj, son of Ram Ditta and his wife namely Kailasho Devi.
In this regard, police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
