JAMMU, Dec 10: St Peter Football Club defeated Bethel Church Football Club by 1-0 goal in the final match of Seven Star Christian Cup Football Tournament, played at Alexander Memorial higher Secondary School Ground, here today.
The tournament started on December 4, wherein six teams of local Churches including CNI St Paul Church FC, St Peter’s Catholic Church FC, Kingdom Ministry Church FC, Bethel Church FC, Disciple of God Church FC, and FMBP Church FC participated.
Deputy Mayor, Advocate Purnima Sharma was chief guest of the closing ceremony while Johnny William Retired IGP (IPS), Esther William Principal of Alexander Memorial School, Amit Sotra State Social Media Co-In-charge Minority Morcha BJP J&K UT, Nicodimus Ji and Narinder Gupta chairman of DFA Jammu were the guests of honour.
David Burat, Direct member Football Association J&K, Mohan Lal Direct member Football Association J&K, Feastus Sotra, Yousaf Don secretary DFA Jammu and Moon Stephen Football coach, Elijah Sotra, Rinku Gill, Victor Kalyan, Shoukat Peter, Father J Charls Davis (Scientist & Professor of Germany University), Udhay Singh, Pastor Anthony Teji, Pastor Vinod Victor, Pastor Sadiq and Pastor Deepak were also graced the closing ceremony of the tournament.
