JAMMU, Dec 12: A minor boy died due to burn injuries caused due to hot water in Gharota area, a police official said.
As per police sources, a three-year-old boy namely Vanshu, son of Tara Chand, a resident of Gharota received serious burn injuries due to hot water.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared brought dead.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased boy has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Gharota Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
