JAMMU, May 7: Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota celebrated its 34th Annual Day with pomp and show in its School premises, here today.
Maj General PS Rajeshwar, Chief of Staff, mHeadquarters 16 Corps was the chief guest on the occasion, while Brig DS Tripathi, Commander, Arty Brigade 16 Corps, chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee was the guest of honour.
The celebration started with lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion, which was followed by Saraswati Vandana.
School Principal, RK Shukla presented the Annual Report, highlighting ache\ievements of the students.
Students presented a colourful cultural programme on the occasion, while the chief guest later-on distributed prizes among the achievers of the Vidyalaya.
The Programme was coordinated by CCA Coordinator, Pushpa Choudhary and Music Teacher Shashi Sharma, while Bimla Pandit, Vice Principal of the School presented vote of thanks.
