Hero FC to lock horns with JK Bank Academy in finals on Dec 20

JAMMU, Dec 18: Trouncing their rivals convincingly in their respective matches, Hero Football Club and J&K Bank Academy will lock horns against each other in summit clash of 14th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association at GGM Science College Football Ground, here today.
In first semi-finals match Hero Football Club defeated Vijay Club FC by 2-0 goals wherein first goal was netted by Mukesh in 35th minute and 2nd goal was bagged by Lakshit in 75th minute of the games for Hero FC whereas, Yellow card was shown by Harmajot Singh of Vijay Club FC.
In second match, JK Bank Academy emerged as winner by defeating Jammu United FC by 3-0 goals. For JK Bank Academy, 1st goal was clinched by Nitin while 2nd was netted by Bhanu Pratap and 3rd goal was bagged by Prem Kumar in 22, 32 & 55 minutes of the game respectively. Yellow card was shown by Bishabjeet of Jammu United FC and Rajan Singh and Divanshu of JK Bank Academy.
Koushal Kumar, Rinku Gill, Romesh Sethi and Mohinder Kalsi were among the referees of the matches.
Dr Atul Hans (Principal IDRS) was the chief guest of the match, Narinder Gupta (former member Sports Council), Yousaf Don (organizing secretary), David Masih (Direct member), Featus Sotra (general secretary), Amarjeet Singh (Baba Travels), Ashu (Book Centre), Moon Stephen (coach), Mohan Lal (Direct member), Joel Bunty and Harbans Lal were the special guests of the matches.
The tournament was organised by Yusaf Don, general secretary of the Association.
