REASI, Dec 21: In a tragic accident, a teenaged youth died and his 14-year old sister was critically injured when the motorbike, they were riding, rammed into a roadside tree at Pouni.
The deceased and the injured were identified as Aftab Ali (16), son of Aziz Mohd, resident of Ambhchappri (Dadooa) tehsil Pouni, and his sister Jannu Bibi (14).
Riding the bike, bearing registration number JK02AL-1126, they were coming from Bhambla towards Pouni when met with the accident near Dadooa Morh Pouni. The bike skidded off the road and rammed into a tree resulting into critical injuries to the brother and sister.
Both were immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Sunderbani for treatment from where they were referred to GMC Jammu. At GMC Jammu, the doctors declared Aftab Ali as brought dead while the condition of Jannu Bibi was also stated to be serious but stable.
