POONCH, Dec 21: Friends Club emerged winner of Kabaddi Premier League, organised by J&K Sports Council at Sports Stadium Poonch, here today.
Rahul Yadav IAS District Development Commissioner Poonch was the chief guest of the closing ceremony, while Commander 93 Infantry Brigade, Krishnan Lal Sharma, Mohd Qasim DYSSO Poonch were the guests of honour.
The function begins with welcome speech by Nirdosh Kumar In-charge Sports Stadium Poonch.
During the tournament, four teams were qualified for Divisional level championships including City Football Club, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club, Shaheeed Manjeet Singh Volleyball Club and Friends Club in the discipline of Kabaddi
Rajinder Singh PEM, Tarlochan Singh PET and Mohinder Bali were among technical panel for Football while Intezar Ali REK, S.Narinder Singh PEM and Mir Alam PEL were among technical panel for Kabaddi.
The vote of thanks was presented by Nirdosh Kumar I/C Manager Sports Stadium Poonch.
