JAMMU, Dec 23: Vridhi Royals defeated Elite Club and Game Changers in the ongoing Under-19 KCSC Cricket Tournament, being played by KC Sports Club ground here today.
In the first match of the day, Vridhi Royals defeated Elite Club by 7 wickets.
Batting first after winning the toss, Elite Club scored 100 runs in 19.2 overs. Samar Singh made 38 runs whereas Ashutosh and Avinash made 17 and 16 runs respectively.
From bowling side, Sanat took four important wickets whereas Parth and Gourav took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Vridhi Royals chased the target in 17.1 overs by losing just 3 wickets. Arya Thakur made 45 runs where as Samarpit and Sumit made 24 and 19 runs respectively.
From bowing side, Laith took 2 wickets where as Shavac took one wicket.
Sanat was declared as Man of the Match.
In another match of the day, Vridhi Royals outplayed Game Changer by 68 runs.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss Vridhi Royals made 231 runs. Arya Thakur played a brilliant knock of 122 runs, whereas Dikshant Kundal made 55 runs and Archit scored 17 runs.
From bowling side, Sampark took 2 wickets whereas Ansh took 1 wicket.
While chasing the target, Game Changer bundled out at 157 runs. Anuj made 43 runs whereas Ansh and Arsh made 27 and 18 runs respectively.
From bowling side, Sanat, Parth and Jasveer took 2 wickets each.
Arya Thakur of Vridhi Royals was declared as Man of the Match.
