BARAMULLA, Dec 28: 2nd District Baramulla Taekwondo Championship, organised by Baramulla Taekwondo Association, commenced at Ahmad Complex Delina, here today.
The championship is being organised under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA), recognized by J&K Olympic Association (JKOA)
Around all Zones including 10 Clubs from district Baramulla participated in the event. The organizing committee hosted more than 100 athletes.
The championship was conducted under the supervision of Adv Neelofar Masood (president, BTA), whereas Haji Ghulam Ahmad Mir was the chief guest and Advocate Neelofar Masood was guest of honour.
The ceremony was also graced by some special guests including Mumtaz Nazir (joint secretary BTA) and Ghulam Hassan Mir.
Danish Manzoor (international player), Aabid Ayoub, Hashim Majeed, Tanveer Ahmed, Mohsin Ali, Shahnawaz, Sahil, Firdosa Nabi, Gulshan Ara, Tabasum and Sadaf Ali were among technical panel.
