JAMMU, May 11: Jammu and Kashmir Karate team brought laurels to the State by clinching two silver and two bronze medals for India in 3rd Asia Cup Karate Championship held at New Delhi, recently.
25-member drawn from almost all parts of State participated in the Championship, in which Master Utkarsh Khajuria won silver in Under-11 kumite and Sahil Singh bagged silver in -76 kg men junior category. Abhishek Sharma won bronze in-68 KG men junior category and Inspector Amit Sangra bagged bronze in senior men kata event.
Meanwhile, the team led by Ambedkar Gupta, Style chief, Seko Kai Karate-Do J&K, was welcomed by Anil Gupta, Chairman AKAJK.
