RAJOURI, May 11: To felicitate winning students of the schools for participation in the 15th SOF National Science Olympiad, 12th SOF National Cyber Olympiad, 6th SOF International Math Olympiad, 3rd SOF International English Olympiad, the District Level Award Ceremony was held by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), New Delhi at Sunderbani, here today.
Sridhar Pandey, Principal, K V Sunderbani presided over the function as chief guest, while BN Sharma, Programme Coordinator, SOF coordinated the event.
45 Students from different schools of Sunderbani were acknowledged for their excellence in Cyber, Math, English and Science Olympiad and were awarded prizes, medals and trophies. Parents of students also participated in the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Principals and teachers of the award winning schools were specially acknowledged in recognition of performance of their schools and for encouragement and patronage to the cause of enhancing learning in Science, Math, English and Technology. Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya and New Public School were specially acknowledged for their performance.
In view of the vision 2020 and with a view to make India super most and provide better vision by infusing healthy competitive spirit through reward based contest, the Science Olympiad Foundation has announced 16th SOF National Science Olympiad, 13th SOF National Cyber Olympiad, 7th SOF International Math Olympiad and 4th SOF International English Olympiad for the year 2013-14 with a global vision, better input and larger resources.
