NDS organizes multi-lingual short story meet

JAMMU, Jan 3: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) organised a multi-lingual “e-laghu kahani goshthi” wherein seven writers narrated their short stories.
The goshthi was presided over by eminent Hindi and Dogri poet and writer Sushil Bhola and the programme was supervised and coordinated by Advocate Harish Kaila, President NDS . The literary meet was conducted by Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary NDS who also carried out critical appreciation of each short story read.
Padam Singh in his Hindi short story “Jugaadd” portrayed the disloyalty of senior Government functionary, while Sudershan Kumari narrated woeful Dogri story of a pair of sparrows depicting feelings of birds. Kalpana Gupta “Rattan” in her Hindi story “Farishta” talked of gestures of owners. Others, who narrated their stories, included SK Jain, Shambu Ram Pyasa, Amarjeet Kaur “Neer” and Kusum Sharma “Antra”.
Shushil Bhola presented a fascinating story of a widower depicting all the characters of all the seven stories read in the literary meet.
