JAMMU, Jan 9: Team of Electric Sub-Division-I, JPDCL, Green Belt today conducted inspection drive and cut off illegal domestic and commercial connections.
On the direction of the Chief Engineer JPDCL Jammu, team of official, led by AEE and under the direction supervision of Xen Electric Division II, Gandhi Nagar, conducted inspection in Narwal, Bathindi and adjoining areas. A total number of 21 illegal domestic and commercial connections were detected and snapped on the spot.
These illegal connections were using power by hooking that caused overloading of the Sub-station.
