KATHUA, Jan 11: Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP president paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of 1953 Praja Parishad Andolan Amar Shaheed Bihari Lal Ji and Amar Shaheed Bhikham Singh Ji, who laid down their lives for the public cause on 11 January 1953 at Hiranagar, Kathua.
Prominent among those attended the tribute ceremony were Ex- MLA Rajeev Jasrotia, Ex-MLA Kuldeep Raj, Hiranagar Municipal Committee president, Vijay Sharma, all newly elected BJP DDC members of Kathua district, Colonel (retd) Maan Singh BJP district president and Raghunandan Singh Kathua district president.
Ravinder Raina, on the occasion said that the nation will always be grateful for the supreme sacrifices of Amar Shaheed Bihari Lal Ji and Amar Shaheed Bhikham Singh Ji. He said that the pious land has given birth to the great personalities who have served the motherland in the past and laid down their lives for a supreme cause.
