Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, Jan 18: Kanachack Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Vishav Partap Singh laid a naka at Sua Number 1 and intercepted two vehicles bearing Registration Numbers JK20-6287 and JK11A-3262.
During checking, police team rescued four bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested three persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Mukhtaar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Ibrahim, son of Raj Mohammad and Bilal Ahmed, son of Mohammad Husain, trio resident of District Rajouri.
Cases under FIR Numbers 9/2021 and 10/2021 under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
