JAMMU, Jan 21: Eagle Cricket Club (Eagle CC) and Jammu Tawi emerged winners of the ongoing CL Chrangoo Memorial Cricket Tourney by defeating Shuhul Knight Riders and Mahadev CC with 72 runs and two runs respectively, being played at Country Cricket Ground Amb Gharota, here today.
In first match, Eagle CC scored 178 runs by losing five wickets. Anil and Raman contributed 43 and 47 runs respectively, while Robin and Vikran made 34 and 13 runs respectively. From bowling side, Sandeep took three wickets and Vimal Koul and Yawar clinched one wicket each.
In reply, Shuhul Knight Riders bundled out at 106 runs in stipulated 18 overs. HL Gaufoo made highest score, Vikas and Sandeep contributed 13 runs each. From bowling side, Parveen bagged two wickets, wheras Raman, Nikhil, Lucky and Suman took one wicket each.
Anil was declared as man of the match.
In second match, Jammu Tawi gave target of 161 runs to Mahadev CC by losing only three wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Aryan made highest 75 runs, whereas Bhavak and Yawar made 29 and 30 runs respectively. From bowling side, Majit and Sumit took two and one wickets respectively.
In reply, Mahadev CC failed to chase the target and lost the match with two runs. Abdul Majid made 40 runs, Summit, Jasveer and Ankul contributed 32, 26 and 22 runs respectively. From bowling side, Sourav, Adil and Yawar grabbed one wicket each and Usman took two wickets.
Aryan Dogra was declared man of the match.
