National art workshop concludes at Patnitop

JAMMU, Jan 31: National art workshop, organised by North Zone Cultural Centre Patiala, Ministry of Culture in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Academy and MSCBMC Trust, concluded today at Patnitop wherein participants across the India participated.
Former Dy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. He said that Jammu and Kashmir has one of the richest cultures in the world and artists across the globe must come and see for themselves all that the region has to offer.
The five days long national art workshop witnessed massive participation of artists from different States of India.
“Right from the moment you step into Jammu and Kashmir, it continues to amaze you with its cultural richness every few kilometres,” said Gupta while interacting with the artists as he appealed them to visit other parts of Jammu and Kashmir as well.
Prominent among the artists who participated in the workshop included Prakash Ghadhe and Nilesh Vede from Mumbai, Prabhaker from Hyderabad, Sanjay Chakraborty from West Bangal, Sanjay Sahni from Ghaziabad, Anil Bodwal from Haryana and many others.
