2 die, 5 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, May 18: Two persons including a three years boy died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesperson said that a tractor bearing registration number JK09B/6917 hit and injured three years old Junaid Rashid Malik of Malik Mohallah, Kupwara near Gole Chakri Bazaar, Kupwara. The injured boy was shifted to SKIMS, Soura where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of deceased boy was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police Kupwara has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a tractor bearing registration number JK05C/7487 turned turtle near Harnoo, Kreeri, resulting in injuries to three persons who were travelling in it.  Among the injured Abdul Hamid lone succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. The body of deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites.
In another accident, a Tavera bearing registration number 2156/JK04 hit and injured three years old Sahil Bashir Sangoo son of Bashir Ahmad of Raithan near Catch, Khansahib, Khansahib. The injured child was shifted to hospital for treatment. Khansahib Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, Muneeba, 22 daughter of Abdul Majid of Kokernag was injured when she was hit by a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A/9171 near Harnag, Qaimoh. The injured girl has been shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Police Qaimoh Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a pedestrian Mohammad Ismail son of Mohammad Akbar of Darbal was hit and injured by a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk01B/4931 near Hamdania Colony, Bemina, Srinagar. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. Bemina police has registered a case in this regard.
